  Nicholas Buc is a highly versatile Australian composer, conductor, arranger, violinist, and pianist.
  In addition to composing his own original works, he has written music for films, television, musicals, and ballet.
  He has conducted numerous cinema concerts in Japan, earning immense popularity and trust from audiences.
  His past performances include “Back to the Future,” “Indiana Jones,” “E.T.,” “Harry Potter” series, and multiple Star Wars concerts, such as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Concert” (2017), “Star Wars in Concert JAPAN TOUR 2018,” and “Star Wars Cinema Concert 2019” (The Last Jedi).
  During the premiere performance of “Star Wars in Concert JAPAN TOUR” at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall on July 29, he conducted a groundbreaking event featuring the entire original trilogy (“A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi”) in a single day, receiving thunderous applause from the audience.

  Founded in 1911, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra is Japan’s oldest symphony orchestra, uniquely serving both as a symphony orchestra and a theater orchestra.
  The orchestra is led by Honorary Music Director Myung-Whun Chung, Chief Conductor Andrea Battistoni, and Special Guest Conductor Mikhail Pletnev. In addition to its own concert series, the orchestra delivers high-level performances for operas and ballets at the New National Theatre, as well as broadcast performances for NHK and other networks.

  In a career spanning more than six decades, John Williams has become one of America’s most accomplished and successful composers for film and the concert stage.
  He remains one of our nation’s most distinguished and contributive musical voices. He has composed the music for more than one hundred films, including all nine Star Wars films, the first three Harry Potter films, Schindler’s List, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, Lincoln, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Superman and the Indiana Jones films. He served as music director of the Boston Pops Orchestra for fourteen seasons and remains their Laureate Conductor. He has composed numerous works for the concert stage including two symphonies and more than a dozen concertos commissioned by some of America’s most prominent orchestras. He has received five Academy Awards and fifty-three Oscar nominations, seven British Academy Awards, twenty-five Grammys, four Golden Globes, and five Emmys.
